Rules

• 1-2 presenters per design area 

• Students can submit a design in the following areas:

  • Scenery

  • Lighting

  • Makeup/Hair

  • Costuming

  • Sound

• Students will present a design for the short play.

• PLAY-THE SCHOOL BELL ALWAYS RINGS TWICE 

• These designs will be evaluated on Presentation (items presented should look professional and avoid sloppiness), Clarity (presentation should faitfully illustrate design choices and avoid confusion), and Artistic Merit (in addition to supporting the author's intent, the artistic concept and subsequent design choices reflect diligent research, insightful interpretation, and artistic achievement).

• The "pitch" portion is just as important as the design renderings.

• 1 entry per design area = 5 submissions per school max.
